Same problem with a fresh install of tribe 5. I just had to reboot the

restart". But after updates and reboot no more problems.

[Tribe5] Need to de-activated and re-activated to work right

Public bug reported:
Hi,
My English is bad so don't blame me for this.
Today, i've tried to upgrade my ubuntu 6.10 edgy to ubuntu 7.04 feisty.
The update can't finish because lilo can't add the kernel 2.6.20 entry.
My root partition is on xfs filesystem, reason i need to use lilo instead of
grub.
Hi,
Same thing on edgy.
I've read something about patching the driver to get it work
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/24810
I haven't try that yet.
** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu)

Same thing with my geforce mx440
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 MX
440] (rev a3) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
The installation of the restricted modules is resolving the problem.
sudo apt-get install linux-restricted-module
Hi,
i got the same problem.
My server is on edgy eft (6.10) and my client is on feisty fawn (7.04).
Same things happen when i'm listening music. Also the server is not
mounted each time, i need to repeat the operation ( at least 2 times ).
To resolve that problem very annoying, i had to compile
It's also happening on my two others client running also feisty fawn.
Both of them are running edgy eft too and it's not happening.
