Tested on Oct 9, 2007 using the "daily-live" [Gutsy] iso from Oct 9, and still
get the error:
"Unable to start the settings manager 'gnome-settings-daemon'.
Without the GNOME settings manager running, some preferences may not take
effect. This could indicate a problem with Bonobo, or a non-GNOME

Using Intel MBoard DG965SS.
After selecting restart either from the "menu" or command line it "hangs" on a

I compiled CEF (based on Chromium), branch 3359 (Chrome 66) and I used:
rtc_use_h264 = true
and I have h264 support. Without that, using the regular:

I can confirm this issue after upgrading from 21.10 to 22.04.
In my case, the fix only comprised changing MODULES=most for MODULES=dep in
/etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf. Changing the compression algorithm doesn't
seem to have impact on my setup.
Before the change, initrd had 234 MiB in size
