Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kde
After editing the kmenu with the menu-editor I have saved the kmenu.
When starting a new session all changes are gone.
This happens in kubuntu 6.10.
If any further information is needed please let me know.

** Affects: meta-kde (Ubuntu)
After searching a while I found out that ~/.local/share/applications
belongs to root. After a "sudo chown user:user
~/.local/share/applications" KMenu-Editor works as expected. So I guess
the bug is the wrong assignment of ~/.local/share/applications.
