Had a problem that seems similar. I have a Powershot A610. I downloaded
a picture and then tried to delete the picture from the camera. When I
did that, the application crashed. I tried to send a bug report with the
crash reporting tool that comes up, but it hung up and quit responding.

Thanks. It worked. I only mentioned it because I had just done a fresh

system is Dell xps410n running Gutsy on separate drive. Started with
Tribe 5 and all updates have been installed. Running compiz and emerald.
The problem is that the mouse pointer will randomly jump to another part
of the screen. Sometimes while moving, sometimes when stopped.

I am dual booting Fiesty and Gutsy. In Fiesty everything is working fine, but
with the latest set of upgrades in gutsy, amarok has no interface. The window
comes up, but no panes or menu or anything. It does play music if I pick it as
the player
Don't know, but amarok is the only application with a problem. Everything
else seems to be fine.

I got the same freeze with the "braid" screensaver. In my case, it looks
like it updates about once every few minutes. I clicked a different
screensaver and was finally able to get it to respond and deselect
braid. System specs:
