Sorry, I do not understand what you are asking for. Yes, if I put the
same disk in my machine and try to boot, I still have the same problem.
Is there a particular updated version you wish me to test?

Sorry. I have retired my H6410. I am fairly certain this problem would
have been solved with later kernel updates, as the same machine had no
problem running other Linux distributions with newer kernels.

I couldn't say. I reported this fourteen months ago using breezy. I do
not think I have ever tried edgy. I ran into too many show stopper bugs
with Ubuntu and gave-up trying to use it.
