In Kubuntu 16.04, package knetwalk 4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1 is missing
dependency on package qml-module-org-kde-games-core.
Expected: after launching knetwalk from menu/command line it starts.
What happened: knetwalk fails to start silently/with following error in
terminal:

Kubuntu 14.04, qapt-deb-installer 2.1.70-0ubuntu4.1
qapt-deb-installer appears to work correctly, opens *deb file when
clicked in Dolphin, asks for password, installs and reports Done, but
installation is not done. Application is not installed. Nothing is added
on the menu
Happened to me on Kubuntu 14.04.
I ran hp-setup without sudo. It asked me to enter my login password most
likely to get sudo rigths anyway. On subsequent restart my
~/.gnupg/pubring.gpg and also backup ~/.gnupg/pubring.gpg~ were owned by
root. Chown to my user restored the functionality back.

Hopefully hplip will be updated to fixed version in Ubuntu repository. I
tried to test newer version in virtual environment, but there was not
gpg installed and hp-setup did not create pubring, so the test is
incoclusive.

kubuntu, though.
