Don't know, works fine for me.
Did you at least run winecfg to create and setup wine? And not using the
old and out dated wine tools?

wine does not work even for minim
I had the same experience.
With the default Fiesty libxvid I only achieved 3-4 FPS. Simply downloading the
xvid 1.1.2 source tarball and doing
./configure --prefix="/usr"
make
sudo make install
I now get 14-15 FPS.

After using an xnest session to either log into a remote computer, or a
nested session on the same computer, once logging out, my hotkeys no
longer work. The keyboard has hotkeys to launch the music player, stop,
play/pause, track previous, track
I'm using Ubuntu 6.06 btw.
