the first one gets updated. i have to manually pause/resume the next

so, i've tried to run locale-gen in terminal app but i kept seeing
apparmor denials in kernel log. so switched to a VT and locale-gen.. and
it worked.. after restart i can see the scopes. i think.. i've updated
ubuntu from ubuntu terminal app.. and that
anyway.. it's still sort of a bug? i mean... the system shouldn't fail
that hard with bad locales?

btw.. there are some side effects X-) now in unity7 the wired connection
is missing and the indicator panel looks weird, see attached screenshot.
this is a daily build.. like today daily build without unity8 installed.
i don't care enough to report unity7 bugs.. but just saying

i am able to reproduce this bug 100% on arale rc-poposed. when you tap
the screen the video (last still frame) flickers until media player's UI
hides and then stops. if you tap again same result, video flickers when
the UI appears. so it looks like the flickering it is linked to the UI
animation. (
