hm.. ok.. so not sure it's Xmir, now i gedit corrupted my fonts, after
20h of using only ubuntu system apps and qt5 apps i just run "ubuntu-
app-launch gedit" and my fonts are corrupted now, i have to restart :D

last position before beeing snapped but this behavior is not very good

[unity8] minimizing/restoring strange behaviour
on restoring the animation is jumpy it goes trough 2 paths, first
minimized position and then to the actual position.
open some random app, minimize, click on the icon (launcher) to restore.
works fine. now
suddenly after the last update. using intel gpu (sandy bridge something).
worked great before the last update.
ok, i'll remove the logs and restart.

when you have lots of pinned apps but you do the other way arround,
scroll down until you reach to the last icon, then open the menu, then
scroll up, the menu gest broken along the way and then it just jumps

start some random apps, left click on an app titlebar and hold the mouse
button pressed (grab)(do not let go!), quick ALT TAB (if you press ALT
TAB quick it will just move the next app in front, it will not start the
spread), now move the mouse, you'll see
probably, btw.. did something change in the way the apps are launched?
so after a reboot i've launched gnome chess from launcher, the app
started (without Xmir) and worked great. but then i closed the app and
the second time it tried to launch with Xmir but failed to load. (not
sure why it tried to
looks like it's the same behavior as on unity7 except that on u7 you can
still snap the window, but in unit8 you can't

when you minimize/unminimize and app it just resizes and moves the
window to a fixed location. in unity8 the UX is much better/more
descriptive, it actually resizes the wind
