If I understand what is being said I think I have seen this. It seems
to stem from a problem I have noticed with window sizing, I often double
click a window title bar to 'Unmaximize' it and it fails to execute, it
looks like it didn't work however it does become unmaximized but in a
maximized loo

I am using Karmic (9.10 Beta originally but updated to stable) and when
I had two Aces, split them and then accidentally clicked to the green
area to the left of the cards new cards appeared i.e. a new game
suddenly started but the previous split Aces card game just disappeared
without any result
I just played many hands and got several chances to split cards of all
types even two Ace cards again but the error didn't occur. I'm using
Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) 2.6.31-14-generic
