for me, using wicd, on the CMU network (it doesn't do it at home
though). With linux-backports-modules-karmic it seems to work pretty
smoothly - I was unable to completely run "apt-get update" before, now

least one hard lockup per day. By "hard lockup" I mean a complete
lockup that leaves no trace in /var/log/kern.log, and does not respond
to any Alt+SysRq combinations.

It is working now, but in order to make it work, I had to:
1) Log out
2) Log in with the language set to Chinese
3) Log out again
4) Log in with language set back to English
Interestingly enough, the "py" input method worked fine for me even when
ibus-pinyin didn't.

128.2.xxx.xxx, on eth0, and an internal network on a eth1, 10.42.43.1.
