No, i have not tested this.
We only use LTS versions on our servers, so at the moment i am still
running 8.04 on the servers affected.
I will set up a test system to try and reproduce the bug, but my

good news again. I recently upgraded to Jaunty and removed the
"all_generic_ide" boot option. Jaunty boots fine (and faster than ever).
I guess this means this bug is resolved.

I have just setup a Xen VM with Ubuntu Hardy and 5.000 SSL enabled
VirtualHosts, this Apache2 instance started without any troubles and is
running fine.
So it seems this is fixed.

I just upgraded to the latest Intrepid. This issue remains. I think I
will be trying to install Windows XP again on this computer, just to
check whether this problem is OS-specific or rather a hardware-issue.
I'm not sure what other steps to take.

I just tried to reproduce this bug on 8.10 beta and failed to do so.
Guess this bug has been solved. Also, for CR2 files the use of gnome-
raw-thumbnailer is not neccessary anymore.

Reinstalled ubuntu and everything shows up fine. This was strange
behaviour, but I have no idea what triggered this. I can't reproduce

I am using iSCSI as storage for my domU's.
The iSCSI Target server is also a Ubuntu Hardy machine (i386).
For the iSCSI initiator i use Open-iSCSI.
My domU's run Hardy of Debian Etch (i just found out) and are running
with the new kernel for about a week now, no troubles found yet.
