Hi Michael Lamothe,
thanks for your fast reply. Well I only tried me-tv. There is a guide on
the mythtv.org website, which explains how the hauppauge settopbox
should work with this mediacenter, but I'm not sure, if this is the kind
of DVB application you intended.

Hi, it seams that this is a known but, which isn't related to me-tv,
because there is a similar problem with klear and kaffeine:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kaffeine/+bug/105620
Well, whats next? Where I have to report this bug?

I found the same bug on the german esayvdr forum:
http://www.easy-vdr.de/forum/index.php?topic=2807.0
They offer a patched kernel to solve this problem:

and I've forgot to mention that I use the driver from:

Binary package hint: em8300
Hi there
That how it looks like, when I am compiling the modules:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/em8300-0.16.3/modules# make
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/build
SUBDIRS=/usr/src/em8300-0.16.3/modules modules
make[1]: Betrete Verzeichnis '/
If I use the em8300-source package, i've got the following error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/modules/em8300# make
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/build SUBDIRS=/usr/src/modules/em8300
modules
make[1]: Betrete Verzeichnis '/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.22-14-generic'
CC [M] /usr/src/modules
There is an ongoing discucion on the linuxwacom-devel mailing list.
Which could help to solve this problem upstream.

You have to ask the EETI-Support (touch_fae at eeti.com) for a special
driver (Asus EP121; ubuntu 11.10 64bit). They will send you a archive
called "eGTouch_v1.00.0812.L-x64.tar.gz" (Note: the driver provided on
the driver page of EETI is not working properly ).
You just have to run the setup.sh a
