I get something like this when dragging videos into vlc. Usually if i
notice it hanging - i.e. the dragged icon doesn't follow the mouse, or
the mouse is not moving at all, I do not let go of the mouse button, and
move the cursor around a bit, and after like 3 seconds the system
restores to normal
The problem is unaffected regardless if I use gnome or xfce4; xfwm4 or
compiz;

I set the clock to hide the timer - which counts down to when it will

When text wrapping is on, there seems to be a space on all lines after
the first that is wrapped. This causes the blue line on the right (the

I opened a video from veoh (with the adobe flash player installed, the videos
are downloaded onto the /tmp/ folder), it seems like they are using a
resolution of 540x321 and that crashes vlc.

Ah, i killed compiz, and discovered that without compiz, the video runs.
I am using X11 video output. Perhaps it requests a drawing area of odd size
which returns an error and kills vlc.

I have the same problem, except it is random whether it is the

error of the sound driver?

After resuming the computer, the headphones jack sense does not work. That
means plugging in the headphones does not make the computer's speakers stop.
