Hm. I'm using ubuntu64, Evolution 2.22.3.1, and I have a similar issue.
One of my IMAP logins is remembered all the time. My second IMAP and my
SMTP passwords aren't remembered (unless it does. Sorry, unhelpful I
know, but 5-10% of the time it works.).

well, a quick google gets me to the HAL quirks site... but it's got
nothing for audio, and all the quirks (i'm pretty sure) are configurable
in /etc/defaults/acpi-support, which I already customized all the

Since this bug report, I have experienced recurrences of this bug at
least six times as of April 1, 09.
Fully updated too.

Also I have noticed that when this bug occurs, the keyboard still works until
you replug it in--at which time it receives no power. All deviced plugged into
usb ports when the mouse stops responding still receive power unless they are
unplugged and then plugged back in--then they don't receive

Can somebody enplane the above in a layman's process so I can get this

just to say that i temporary resolved the problem by:
sudo mv /usr/lib/swfdec-mozilla/libswfdecmozilla.so
/usr/lib/swfdec-mozilla/libswfdecmozilla.so.disbaled
( you may or may not need to reinstall flashplugin-nonfree)
and restarted firefox.
