Bug too on my computer.
Ubuntu gutsy kernel 2.6.22 ( all, kernel.org GIT, kernel.org tar.gz,
linux-image-2.6.22-7-generic, etc...)
kernel OOPS on many many compil work ( make or make install ).
GCC-4.1 and gcc-4.2 tested.
