Sometimes, my laptop runs flat out of juice, while in suspend. After a
full boot, akregator (as part of kontact) crashes. If the current part
in kantact was akregator before the depleted power situation, then
kontact crashes. Removing everything
Update: just found out that removing the archive map and the lock file
from ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator/archive solves this keeping all my
subscription info intact (but empty).

I can confirm that the repo's at http://xgl.compiz.info fixes this
problem. I noticed an update i810 driver for X.org. I remeber reading
somewhere that it was a driver issue. If this is the case, I suggest
updating the dapper repo's with the version on compiz.net.

I can confirm this is still the case. It's kind of hard to produce a
screenshot of it, 'cause it's only happening during a short period of
time while the machine is resuming. Running Feisty Final with
knetworkmanager 0.1 on KDE 3.5.7

I managed to create a screenshot of one type of this problem. Here, the
background is just black. In other cases, the old situation is shown as
"background". Maybe this screenshot will be convincing enough for

Running Gutsy with all update up to today and it works for me. It even
reconnects after a resume from S2R. I'm using WPA2 with AES.
Btw: I'm also testing OpenSUSE 10.3 beta2 and they are using the iwl
driver. From comments there it seems the ipw driver is crap ad the iwl
driver is highly experimen
I did an install of both ubuntu and kubuntu Gutsy on i386. No deal. Bug
is still there.

I Agree, right now the adept updater runs before knetworkmanager was
able to make a wireless connection. This is not a wishlist, it's a bug
imho.
