I have a folder with an .xcf (GIMP) image, the image has a correct thumbnail in
the nautilus window. When I copy (cut+paste) the image in the same folder the
thumbnail is empty.
If I copy the image from a different folder the thumbnail shows the logo of
GIMP.

Intel I219-V ethernet connection lost
Last time I had the problem was dec 10 20:08 and I was using Ubuntu 19.04 with
kernel 4.20rc5 and network-manager version 1.12.4.
Since then I have not had the problem but I used kernel 4.20rc6 and 4.20rc7
also network-manager has changed to 1.12.6-0ubuntu2 and firefox has been
updated too.

A stupid question: I'm using mainly Ubuntu Disco; can I install an old
kernel like v4.4.X without problems?

Changing Dock Icon size (Settings-Dock-Icon size) the icons on desktop

asking_what_to_do also if I specified this option in gnome-control-
center > Devices > Removable_media
I see only a new icon on the desktop.
CD audio: 'Rhytmbox' and 'open-folder' works fine. 'Ask_what_to_do'
I have same problem on 2 different desktop and 2 laptop.
CD/DVD is correctly detected but i don't have the message 'You have just
inserted ... Chose what application to launch'
On same hardware different partition with Ubuntu Xenial inserting any
CD/DVD I see a window saying: 'You have just inser
When I insert a blank DVD (or CD) a new icon appears on the desktop (bottom
right on my attachment),
in the nautilus sidebar i see the DVD, if i click the new icon i see the window
bottom left but i don't have the message 'You have just inserted ...'

Sorry, the problem comes from BIOS settings on my HP 250, the bios was set to
capture function keys and not pass them to the application. Changed BIOS
settings solved the problem.

Using snap version library import works fine from SH3F file contained in
the ZIP files but if importing from ZIP file I have the message '..
imported' but nothing is really imported.

Reinstalled from last daily, menus appeared once at 1st login, then

Folder Sharing failed with msg: 'net usershare' returned error 255: net
usershare add: cannot convert name "Everyone" to a SID. The connection was

In fact smdb is not running. Failed at boot.
