it seems that you did not create that /etc/pm/config.d/00s2ram correctly
, in VIM , use :wq to save and quit , pls remove 00s2ram.swp also , it
just a file temporary created by VIM.

Same with my AO521 , the latest BIOS 1.08 is no help

Suspend work on my acer ao521 with this method :D
1) update the BIOS to v1.08 (DON'T install v1.11 !! that is a wrong
version !!)
2) MENU > System > Administration > Additional Driver > ATI/AMD
proprietary FGLRX graphics driver > activcte
3) open a terminal :
$ sudo apt-get install uswsusp
$ sud
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
