I have a z60m and am currently experiencing the same problem. This was not an issue in Hardy but since upgrading to Intrepid bluetooth is now always switched on upon reboot. It doesn't matter if I have switched bluetooth off with FN+F5 prior to a reboot either. -- bluetooth always enabled since

I've tried the lucid alpha-2 live cd on the thinkpad z60m, but could not reliably boot to the desktop with it. When I did get to the desktop, the bluetooth was initially on and could be toggled on/off with FN+F5. Attempts to shutdown/reboot did not complete successfully and resulted in locking up
