presenter console? It generates an echo (duplicate sound) and renders
the presenter-console useless.

This is a regression for Lucid from Karmic. I can confirm that this
is a bug in 10.04.1 LTS in pm-utils on an HP6910p laptop. It is not a
kernel bug per se. If I close the lid on my laptop on AC power it will
not suspend. It will suspend on battery using the lid close method. It

Apparently, OO.org claims that this is not an issue since OO 3.2 on
Linux. They claim that the GO-OO, and later LO builds are introducing
this bug.
I can reproduce this bug with BOTH the LO deb of the presenter-console
and/or the OpenOffice.org (Oracle) presenter-console extension.

Purging the LO presenter-console and installing the version from
openoffice.org works.
However, I am STILL getting double sound from the presentation AND the
preview on embedded videos with sound.
