I saw that the version 3.0.1 of ophcrack is out for a few months.
They made some great enhancements in their program such as multithreading
support and brute force.
I tried to compile the sources but it's a bit strange on ubuntu system..

Why don't you apply patches from upstream ?
I mean that the latest 2.6.24 patch is the .7, and everyone that use Ubuntu
with the original kernel use in fact the 2.6.24.3 kernel... But patches simply
correct bugs...

I don't know if it relies on ACPI Daemon or other but I've a problem with
Hotkeys setup...
I followed what nielsslot said, I restart acpid and mes keys work. But when I
restart my computer, I must restart acpid once when I want to use my keys...
Do you have this problem too ?

I'm trying to install elisa on jaunty, but it depends on python-pgm, which is
not installable because of bad dependencies.
It depends on python (< 2.6) so aptitude down like that :)
Please fix that bug ;)

I've tested the package on Hardy Heron on my Vaio VGN-FZ11e and it doesn't
work...
However, my webcam is "05ca:1837", it is supported by the driver... I don't
understand...
I have just tested with Cheese but I think it's the most compatible program
i've seen with webcams...
