I can confirm this bug is still present in pidgin 1:2.2.1-1ubuntu3
Gonna install pidgin 1:2.2.1-1ubuntu4 now, but i don't expect it to be fixed in
that version either, because it isn't mentioned in the changelog.

Hi,
I also have similar problems with the English install, ubuntu i386
livecd. Sometimes it doesn't load the partitioner (where you configure
your partitions), if it does load i won't get passed 8% on the installer
when it starts the partitioner and scans the discs.
