I just found out that if you remove the fast-user-switch-applet from the
panel the shutdown options reappear in the system menu :) Still seems
strange to have removed them in the first place though.

That update to libsoap worked great, stopped the crash completely.
Instead a warning popped up telling me I'd entered the wrong URL. It
wasn't the wrong URL though I just needed to update my network proxy
exemptions then it connected perfectly. Maybe it wouldn't have crashed
if I'd done that in t

I'm surprised there's been no mention of the cedartrail drivers which
are now in the main repositories. Worked a charm for me. Just use the
standard i386 kernel and the GMA3600 should be detected as additional
drivers. If not (or you're getting the black screen issue which I never
saw) just drop
It seems to work great for me now. When I select the Windows print
server a dialog pops up to prompt for authentication. Ubuntu 10.10,
