I posted this bug in OO-Launchpad
(http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99212). They said, it's a
problem only in the Ubuntu-Version of OO.
I'm using Ubuntu intrepid.
For info about the OO-Version, look at the screenshot.

Using Ubuntu (8.04) and OO (3.0)
1. Start OpenOffice writer
2. Open an existing document or a new one
3. type a few words
4. Shutdown the computer (by using the shutdown menu for example)
--> Unbelievable, but true: OO doesn't ask whether to save the changes!!!
--> as Auto-Re
dy saved, an it will ask me to save them before the
program will close. in my opinion, this should work in the same way,
when i shut down the computer. ubuntu should incite oo to close, oo
should ask me to save my changes - before closing and befor shutting down.

Hi Alberto,
how did you revert to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics version 0.14.7? My touchpad
scrolls but it doesn't tap to click (left click).
When I run Synaptics, the Package-->Force Version menu entry is greyed out.
Thank you for your help,
