Ha they fixed it !
basically they had printer dialog as a non-modal box so you couldnt move
it nor do anything with it. now they have it correct with minmize
buttton etcPerfect I love ubuntu

wow did i speak too soon
literally a few minutes after the last post i got kicked off wifi
FYI im using a WEP 128bit hex key and also using a hidden SID for wifi

this continues still today with same issues ive even reinstalled gutsy
and applied all updates to the T61 laptop
these appear like crazy when i try to access any wifi and even killing network
manager and restarting it wont help

This happens also to me with open office, the browser sometimes and
maybe other apps non related to the emacs
I am using a T61 lenovo laptop and this only happens with desktop
effects to anything other then none. I get it to occur from scrolling
mostly with the wheel on my external mouse.
