Hi,
I tried the above work-around. This allows aideinit to get farther, but
does not succeed. I now get the following output from aideinit:

I just installed smbldap-tools on my 8.10 desktop. Even though my desktop
isn't configured to run the scripts, i took a quick look at the source.
At line 243 of smbldap-useradd, the gecos assignment is the same as always:

using SPDIF output for the last couple months. I tried ripping a DVD
for the first time the other day in mythtv and when I played the file
back SPDIF no longer worked. I verified that the analog output works

gives up too quickly. using openvpn from the commandline can take 20
seconds if the connection is particularly slow or saturated. The plugin

problem is this (at least it was for me when i submitted aduplicate of

I can confirm burnmw's result:
Running refit, If I cold boot, and wait several (10-15) seconds, keyboard works
in cd bootloader. Otherwise it does not.

I removed and reinserted the appletouch kernel module, and things improved.
The sensitivity increased to the point of being usable, and tap-to-click
started working.
However, the advanced features of the trackpad still don't work:
No double-tap-and-hold-to-drag
No two-finger

Specifying the gain option to the Voicemail() application in
extensions.conf results in Asterisk crashing with a segmentation fault.
The following is the voicemail entry from my extensions.conf:
exten => 211,n,Voicemail([EMAIL PROTECTED],sg3)
The following voicemail command, omitting the g option, works with no
segfault:
