Since my lucid update, mounting partitions (e-sata external drive or
internal partitions) with dolphin or the device manager needs root
rights while it works great with karmic / kde 4.4.2

The bug will be fixed in 15.04.1 which isn't released yet. (tag tomorrow)
Kubuntu doesn't seem to have backported the patch in 15.04 so you'll have to
wait some more days ;)
