Thanks for the feedback.
I found that setting the SATA Controller Mode to "Compatibility mode"
instead of "AHCI mode" can solve this problem.

The output of xrandr is as below. The default resolution after the
system is installed is 800x600. I can set the resolution to 1280x1024 by
using "xrandr -s 0", but the resolution cannot be set as 1024x768.

The root cause for this bug is that Tribe 3 didn't recognize the monitor

The monitor I use is Phillips 170b6. After change the monitor type from

Please check the attached tar ball for log files. The log files named
with a "2" in it is got after hibernated. The log files named without a
"2" in it is got before hibernated.
Please let me know if other information is needed.

Ah yes you are right. Simply remove the hardcoded monitor hirizsync and
vertrefresh values can fix this bug. But why there are the hardcoded
values in xorg.conf? Will it cause other side effect to remove them?

Thanks for reminding. But the bug cannot be reproduced now. Maybe some
packages have been upgraded on the test box. There will be some text
message shown after select to "hibernate", but this should be a less
important bug.

Yes. I verified in Tribe 4. We can close this bug.
When Tribe 4 hibernating on another system in our lab (a pre released
system), it will show text messages and a changing save-to-disk
percentage, but on Santa Rosa it will only show text messages but not
the changing percentage. Maybe this is only
I checked it on a Santa Rosa SDV and found it still not fixed.
I used Gutsy with "apt-get update" to get the latest version. Is there
any special packages I need to update manually?
