I blacklisted the first two, I didn't blacklist the third. (didn't know it
related to my situation). I will and let you know if anything changes.

my var/log/dist-upgrade contains two files. One, term-log, contains no
information. The other, apt.log, contains information, and I am
attaching it.
I don't know if it matters, but I manually fixed the problem by
following instructions I found on ubuntuforums.org. Do you need to know
the steps

I am using ndiswrapper 1.38 with Feisty 7.04. Using a Belkin pcmcia wireless
card with a rt2500 chip and driver.
shows the driver and hardware present
I can connect on an open network, but not using encryption

I should add that wpa has worked intermittently. When I first installed
and configured ndiswrapper, I had wpa until I rebooted. Then, it would
only connect on an open network. WEP was given as a configuration
option, but even if I changed the encryption on the router to WEP, ndis
does not connec

understand the first suggestion. And yes, I am able to select and do select
Victoria until the Victoria menu
