sun.java6.plugin package. I uninstalled it (though I left sun-java6-bin
and -jre untouched, for other apps need it) and downgraded to

installing libv4l form Löic's PPA (kernel 2.6.27-11-generic)! BTW, it's not

I've managed to reproduce this by coping files from the examples folder
into the desktop and rearranging them randomly. I'm attaching an
animated gift showing the bug.

must first select the first file on alphabetical order (respecting the
"folders before files" rule) and then shift-select the last one.

Sorry for triple-posting. The file I've attached before had no
extension and firefox thought it was a binary file. I've renamed the
file and am updating it again.

Version 2.28.1 says "File Roller: An archive manager for GNOME." Is
that the version you have there? It doesn't look that much confusing to
me, but maybe it's just because I'm used to it: nautilus reads "File
Browser" on title, evince reads "Document Viewer"... I think this is
just the way Ubuntu

I'd love to see that also. I'm really annoyed at the current way we get
to organize our personal data. Many of my files fit in more than one
folder and symlinking it to many folders is just too much of a hassle.
I can't stop dreaming about having a Gmail-like solution on Nautilus.
