I downloaded Google Earth and installed the google earth stable from the
Unbuntu Software Center, but it won't open when I click on the link.
Nothing happens.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for responding. I went to the Google Earth website and
downloaded the Linux Version. When it finished downloading, the Ubuntu
Software box popped up and prompted me to install the google-earth
stable. I did and nothing happens when I click on the Icon to open
Google Earth.
