I just tested 5.0.0-23-lowlatency kernel with the mouse plugged into a
USB3 port, and everything seems to be okay. So it does seem to be USB2

I have the same issue.
At the login screen, I select my user, enter the password, the mouse works fine
at this point.
Click on login, wait, screen comes up then at random, the mouse either
works fine (about 1 time in 5) or it goes really really slow (4 times out of 5).
Only way I'm working
This issue impacted me as well on a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 install. I
encountered this when I attempted to install ubuntu-restricted-extras.
The work-around provided (sudo dpkg-reconfigure libdvd-pkg) corrected
the issue.

I just installed 1.1.6 from the github repo. It works better, but isn't
perfect. My iPad shows up on my desktop and there is no trust loop, but
full functionality isn't restored and I'm unable to open my device.
This is just going to be a case of waiting til libimobiledevice is
functional again, I
I get the same on a fresh install with English (UK) as my primary

so suprise that this bug is not fixed for sooo long.
fixed by just include string.h
so add this line to xbattbar-check-apm.c:
#include
however, even this helps preventing xbattbar from crash, it still won't read
battary status correctly,
but you can pass a script to read the status:

Sorry it took so long to get back to you but I tore my achilles and my
priorities were in getting healthy which will be taking a long time.
Anyway, what exactly do you mean by a "fresh reboot"?. Do you mean wipe
everything ? Please let me know when you get the chance.
Thank you,

Well, I got up this morning to find that my webDAV calendars in
Lightning were working again albeit locked as read-only! Unchecking the
read-only attribute for each one got me back working again.
There were a few updates - mainly avahi (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1) packages
with a new version of the libmikm
For completeness, this is the list of packages that were updated
yesterday:
libavahi-common-data (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1)
libavahi-common3 (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1)
libavahi-core6 (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1)
avahi-daemon (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1)
libavahi-client3 (0.6.25-1ubuntu6.1)
libavahi-compat-libdnssd1 (0.6.25-1ubu
TB/Lightning still working fine so I think you can close the report.
Thank you.
