It's still in my to-do list, but I've been also working on and off on a
rewrite of large portions of marco (and I've had to restart a few
times). If someone else can pick this up in the meantime, that'd be
good.

I can confirm this. My workaround is to unmaximize the window, move it,
then re-maximize it. This needs to be fixed in Marco.

I can confirm that the dictionary view font can be successfully changed
in the Appearance app by changing the Document Font.

marco / mate-session-restore misplaces windows
This selects the desktop itself (which is an instance of caja). The idea
seems to be that you can switch between the applications and the
desktop. Selecting the desktop allows you to then use the keyboard to
move between desktop icons.
Not sure if this is a bug or whether this is the intended beha
Running `sudo apt --fix-broken install` seems to have fixed it for me.

"snapped" on the xrandr tool?

within a few minutes `mate-hud` crashed with the exact same error
