I tried mplayer, running mplayer in terminal with "mplayer

I just tried the 64 version of ubuntu 10.04, both shutdown and reboot works,
but it freezes for 10 secs or so before it really shutdown/reboot..
here is lspci:

startx, and if I'm lucky sometimes, I can get working network by:
