I compiled the test case on a 32bit ubuntu 8.04, then ran on a 64bit
ubuntu 8.10. I got the cancel button show just fine when I compiled on
64bit 8.10 and can on 64bit 8.10.
Please re-open if you're able to reproduce the issue though.

Ok, so Emilo Lopez made a fix that works (apparently linking to libxul
is, unsurpisingly, a mess, and it should be done at runtime and not
compile time - same as firefox does it) that uses a script to start
gnome-web-photo. Like firefox. and it works.

For what it's worth, KDE 4 has major issues with it too. While it could be
some functions that they used were buggy, it's still a bug in nvidia, since
the stuff works fine on ati cards.

Run the "fsck" command on your harddrive, it if starts spewing out lots of
error like mine did, copy important data from HD, throw away, buy new,
reinstall.
