After the Compiz 0.3.6-1ubuntu11 update, I disabled the nvidia driver
with restricted-manager and rebooted before disabling Compiz, it just
loaded metacity when I logged back in.
Before that update it horribly broke when I tried to log back in, so
maybe it's fixed now.

Okay, the plot thickens - using the _exact_same_CD_ as yesterday, it
booted up fine today. I bet if i boot it up a few more times it will
fail and succeed a couple times. The casper log shows that casper can
access the info to properly configure X this time. So probably casper
sometimes configures
The status is the same as it was when it was submitted, nothing seems to
have changed.
And I don't believe I did set it as private, I'm not logged in at
sourceforge and I can see the status fine

I just tried your profile with liferea 1.0.23 on Ubuntu 6.10 (amd64).
It hogged my CPU for about fifteen seconds, appearing to hang, but then
appeared to work fine. It also exhibited the same behaviour after being
started again.
Deleting the cache file does indeed result in a faster startup.
So
Works okay for me with Nicotine+ 1.2.4 on 6.10 amd64, no freezing.

At first run, Liferea displays its toolbar icons without labels,
although Ubuntu's default settings are to show labels. When the setting
is changed to 'icons only' and then back to 'text below icons' again,
however, Liferea properly obeys this setting.

available are Wikipedia and Ubuntu Package search. I believe this is
because the other search plugins in Firefox 2.0 are a new format. At any
