I recently did a fresh install of feisty from a daily cd build a few
days ago, and a few days later realized I had this problem. Changing
/dev/hda (the dvd drive's device entry) to /dev/dvd in /etc/fstab as per
Robert's comment fixed it.

Right, I just had this problem on latest Feisty. With gnome-power-
manager set to never deactivate the monitor and gnome-screensaver set to
never enable the screensaver, the screen blanked out after 20 minutes.

/apps/compiz/plugins/cube/screen0/options/color needs to be set to a
non-sickly yellow colour, something like white so it will make the image
glow properly, I suppose?

Okay, also happens with gnome-terminal when using the nautilus-open-
terminal extension and eog when launched from files inside nautilus..
Any app launched from nautilus shows up on all viewports' window lists.
