The following fixes the sound problem for me:
sudo mkdir /usr/src/alsa
cd /usr/src/alsa
sudo wget ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/driver/alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3.tar.bz2
sudo tar xfj alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3.tar.bz2
cd alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3
sudo vim alsa-kernel/pci/hda/hda_intel.c und AZX_MAX_CODECS von
