There is still no video after suspend for me. Since Andrew Chadwick has
an Intel graphics card and does not have problems, perhaps the ATI card
is the culprit. What graphics cards do other users with the same problem
have?

Manually running the following two scripts results in successful
suspend/resume, but I don't know how to integrate the commands into
Ubuntu so I may run it with GUI controls. The scripts use vbetool
commands. Any help will be greatly appreciated:

I believe commenting out "SAVE_VBE_STATE=true" and
"VBESTATE=/var/lib/acpi-support/vbestate" in /etc/default/acpi-support disables
vbetool in the two scripts you mention in the link above. I've tried
suspend/resume with and without vb

Those two scripts no longer work.
Strangely, I was able to temporarily resume successfully about 4 times
after rebooting each time (suspend never worked a second time until the
machine was rebooted) after changing /etc/default/acpi-support options
to:
ACPI_SLEEP=true
ACPI_HIBER
Why is this still unconfirmed since another user confirmed the same
problem on the same laptop?

during the installation process. I didn't use ntfs-3g. Is the ntfs kernel

In Kosmic 9.10, as far as I can tell, I am able to resume from suspend
and perform normal functions. For some reason, however, a crash report
