I noticed that the problem occurred on my system when the
'/home/user/.mozilla' directory was becoming quite large, possibly
exceeding the size of the allotted offline cache size.
The way I solved the issue was to:
1) check I backed up my bookmarks (firefox won't allow you to backup to
html...
I have the same problem. It seems to delete ok then the items come
back.

computer the calibration will return to being completely off. I have a

Is there a problem with Grub that is causing some of this?
I have had problems since trying 10.10 64-bit on a spare partition using
a clean install from USB created using 10.04 64-bit
When I updated to kernel 2.6.35-25 using the update manager it didn't
update grub, just left the 2.6.35-22 lines

I have the same issue. Although this isn't a solution instead of
pressing Ctrl+Alt+F4 and then needing to reboot I just press super+L
(window_key+L) to lock the screen and then just enter my password to
unlock and it works every time. Still waiting for a proper solution but
this is a workaround for

Yes, you were correct. That was the issue. Now I am just noticing that
it wasn't an AssertionError, but an AttributeError. Whoops.
I suppose that is the danger of relative imports. Perhaps the
application could be rewritten to use absolute imports instead, in case
someone has `misc`, `tree`, `path
Here is a summary of the steps:
sudo mkdir floppy0
sudo chmod g+rwx floppy0
sudo chmod o-rx floppy0
sudo modprobe floppy

I haven't tried the "noapci apci=off" option yet, but I turned on the
"ctrl shows me where my pointer is" option and even though the pointer
was moving about the screen, X thought it was in the top left-most
corner.
