You're right pjotr. I've got an Ubuntu installation as well, with 4gb
ram, and 12gb swap! That's much It would be better to do something
against this.

I think we should not replace GNOME with Xfce. Okay, it is true. Unity
is not user friendly. But it'd be better to keep Gnome, but let the user
choose in the installation procedure for classic or unity, with the
possibillity to choose unity or classic in de log on screen, so, if the
UI does not fit
