I'm having the same issue, with a HVM windows geust, workaround is mount
in Dom0 the iso in a /dev/loopX and attach it through a phy: device in
the DomU. I hope this 'll be fixed for Hardy.

Elie, when you use tap:aio: the mount of the iso for installing the os
was working well ?
Because I didn't work and I had to use the workaround of mounting them
in de Dom0 and passing it with phy:/dev/loop*
