Hibernation worked great in 10.04, but doesn't work well in 10.10. After
a clean boot, it works fine. If I launch Thunderbird and Pidgin, it
still works fine. Once I launch Firefox, it fails. Everything shuts
down, then it stalls at a terminal with this error message:

It may be worth adding that suspend works just fine. It's only hibernate
that fails.

It may be unrelated to Firefox specifically, but something Firefox does
causes the problem or at least makes it worse. Maybe it is related to
memory usage or network usage? I seem to get an error message related to
the video driver, so maybe Firefox is exposing a bug there? It is quite
conceivable
It does seem to be the same.
