I configured openvpn so that it updates my /etc/resolv.conf upon connection, by
using the resolvconf package and the provided update-resolv-conf script
My config looks like this:

I still have the problem with this particular EPP update site.
When I tried this update site, it was because the update site list was empty on
a fresh install.
However, there is now an update site installed by default which works
fine. I installed the Java EE Developer Tools from this update site
I agree with the previous post, the initial predicate that motivated
that change is wrong. Java development in eclipse does not require a jdk
at all. Maybe a suggest depency would be better for us who don't want a
jdk

With jaunty I was booting in about 50s whereas it takes 2 min for karmic. I
rebooted several times to let sreadhead profiling the system

It seems that syndaemon is not working properly and never reactivates the
tap-to-click functionality.
The problem occurs only when I use the enter key to validate my password on the
login screen. If I validate with the mouse, the touchpad is working correctly.

mode to access it (in the top right menu)
