Sorry... It said to include more details if it was a new report, but
by then I could see that the problem had been reported several times
already.
Also, it would be a heck of lot easier to include the displayed debug
info if you could copy/paste the trace/debug info in the usual way.

organized as follows:
75GB primary partition with WinXP installed
75GB primary partition not yet formatted
150GB unpartitioned space

I followed your instructions above and after the ubiquity
update/install, the installer didn't work at all. That is, I double
clicked on the "install" icon, and nothing (visible) happened, not even
the visual "working on it" non-hourglass indicator.
So I restarted and tried to repr
Confirming that this bug is fixed in the 7/21 daily build.
