Sorry about the tone, now that I re-read it it does indeed sound a bit
rude.
Regarding the issue, so my bad, caching is indeed done. It hadn't
occurred to me to look at the settings. Increasing the cache size fixed
all the issues described here, so I guess the bug report can be closed
as invalid.
I had this problem some time ago and it somehow went away, but starting
from recently I'm having this problem AGAIN.
I have all the current updates installed.
Is it supposed to be fixed in the updates currently available? If so,
then it is not.

other than Qt creator? I'm not sure what it is but it looks like a tool
for creating an application, so in order to test it I should create an
application with it and then try printing with that application ¿? (the

Well, after doing some random stuff the File/Print became available so I
could try to print right from Qt-creator.
If I open the printer properties, there's not even any "Advanced" tab,
no settings for print quality at all.
In the first dialog, the "color mode" suffers from the same problem

wow, that looks like a huge bug (or bunch of bugs) in Qt, making any Qt-
based application practically unfit for printing!

The settings under Properties/Advanced ARE editable (I mean, in qpdfview
too). It's simply that the UI is so counterintuitive that you have to
find out how. You have to double-click on any value, then it will turn
into a dropdown, which then you can use to select the value.

I guess you missed my comment #7 because we wrote almost at the same
time.
I personally wouldn't merge the two issues; this one is a purely UI one,
and it's much smaller than i thought (the advanced settings _can_ be
changed, it's just the most counterintuitive UI ever) and entirely
belongs to Qt
In all the other applications I've ever seen in Linux (until I tried
other Qt-based apps driven by your suggestion), there is no independant
"color mode" setting at all. The only way to choose whether to print in
color or grayscale is, in a way or another, to choose one of the Print
Quality settin

I have the same problem with em350 and ubuntu 10.04. Front microphone is not
working while external is ok. I just try to install the realtek driver from

I'm on a dual-boot P4 desktop and, interestingly, connected via a D-Link router
(DSL-G624T).
While under my Ubuntu 8.04 LinkedIn is so sluggish and almost unusable, under
WindowsXP all seems to work smoothly.

One of my servers, after 219 days of uptime, crashed with the same
divide-by-zero bug, as I confirmed in the ec2 bug. It's a heavy IO
machine running a critical MySQL service.

This happened to me with 2.6.35-24-server, it is a MySQL (Percona,
5.1.54) machine running not so heavy load but slightly heavier IO.

I also have the same problem with the 1 pixel icon in the panel so I
looked around and found this file. Run it in the terminal and select
restore panel to default. Now my skype icon is showing perfectly.
