Must be a round about way of saying you can't figure it out. I'm not
terribly surprised really, seems the folks in the IRC chatroom had the
same issue... One wonders if they are related in some way.

Here's the deal. When I boot up my computer I end up at a tty screen
with a command prompt where I then have to login. I then must either
run startx or sudo gdm. After this I have to login again in order to
get into the windows environment.
