xorg-edgers PPA [1]? Hold down Shift while booting to get to grub to
select the kernel. Alternately, you can remove the mainline through
Synaptic; just search "2.6.34" and remove the three packages you

to different processes.

Does disabling compiz fix the problem?
Immediately after your next freeze, could you post your kern.log and
Xorg.0.log.old (both as .txt's) and note the exact date/time of the
freeze?

In Maverick, both firmware-b43-installer and b43-fwcutter are needed in
order to use the Broadcom wireless cards. Since the Maverick LiveCD only
contains b43-fwcutter, it's not possible to get wireless working on
these cards after installing Mave
FYI, firmware-b43-installer is not included in the Maverick LiveCD, so
you can no longer install the Broadcom wireless drivers using the
LiveCD. I've opened a new bug report for this as Bug 653790.

Were you trying to click it? You have to arrow down and highlight the

If it actually doesn't work, only attaching dmesg from the current
