Hi,
thanks for your work in fixing/ updating the Kubuntu Docs.
At first I am very thankful that you have deleted these awful repeatings of
hints how to open applications.
Unfortunatly there are still (new!) texts which are dicted in an awful
way. They even do not make sense in english!
Example
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kubuntu-docs
The english texts in Kubuntu-docs have sometimes really bad diction
which makes translation into german (and I am sure into any other
language) nearly impossible.

This bug is not a duplicate of bug #1240198, because in THIS bug,
#1246272, the keyboard layout is switching randomly. In the other one,
it is always switching.

I am too affected by this bug.
I have a Laptop with Intel graphics (Intel Ironlake) and this machine is
affected by this bug. But I also have another Laptop with an old Nvidia
Geforce 7300GO and this one seems not to be affected. The same applies
for my desktop machine (Nvidia Geforce 210). Both N

Public bug reported:
Hi,
when muon-discover is not installed on the system (I uninstalled it and
installed the "normal" Muon package manager instead), the icon, which is
normally shown in the KDE system tray when updates are available, is
missing.
Instead of the missing icon, the "icon-missing"
unfortunatetly I can't do that. The affected machine is a production
machine. It is now running fine since the fglrx module is installed.
Installing the new Kernel means a risk of breaking it for other reasons
and it means uninstalling the fglrx module for testing (otherwise it

this Bug also affects a customers machine, equipped with a MSI A78M-E45
mainboard with an AMD A4-4000 APU.
This Bug is not in Ubuntu Precise with the 3.2 Kernel. So I first
installed Ubuntu 12.04, installed the fglrx-driver via Jockey and then
upgraded to Trusty. Up to now, the system runs without

after having thought about this a little bit, I would like to write down
as much information as I can.
I wrote "randomly" because it really is randomly. This means, the user can not
determine a reason for these reboots. There is no obvious connection between

Public bug reported:
Hi,
in the german version of Kubuntu, we have a mixture of english and
german in software-properties-kde and policykit1-kde. As far as I
recall, the affected versions are at least Kubuntu 12.04 and the
upcoming 12.10.
Being a member of the Ubuntu German Translators, it would
change necessary because Launchpad did not know software-properties-kde
in the first place (Bug?)
** Package changed: ubuntu => software-properties (Ubuntu)
** Summary changed:
- software-properties-kde not translation is a mix between english and german
+ software-properties-kde and policykit1
as far as I know, the GTK-version of software-properties is 100%
translated, because in Ubuntu Precise (with Unity Desktop) and Xubuntu
Precise (XFCE), this issue does not exist. Only the Kubuntu (KDE)
version is affected.
